In partnership with Deutsch-Uni Online, the FGU/UFA offers free online language courses to all its German and French students, so that they can improve their language skills in the partner country (minimum entry level required: B1). In the form of modules to be worked on individually, students can acquire vocabulary specific to their field of study, brush up on grammar or, actively prepare for their stay in the partner country via modules on everyday life or university life. They receive personal support from DUO tutors and can exchange ideas with other participants through the forums.

NB Online courses are available to start as soon as your application for the double degree has been approved. Contact the FGU/UFA coordinator in your home institution first. Then contact DUO kober@gast.de or FGU/UFA schmidt@dfh-ufa.org.

Particularly in the case of linguistic competencies, the focus is on academic writing, oral and written language in everyday university and professional life, and oral presentation for academic languages.
