About Centrale Lyon
Centrale Lyon is one of France’s top engineering schools. Since its foundation in 1857 it has been dedicated to innovation, entrepreneurship, internationalism and social responsibility, with a mission to educate and train engineers and researchers, providing them with the skills that will be needed to solve the scientific challenges of tomorrow, in an international context. The school offers a general degree programme in engineering science, nourished by high-level research and a close relationship with the business world, which equips its graduates to manage complex multidisciplinary projects.
Research

At École Centrale de Lyon, unlike most schools in France, our teaching is essentially based on « learning by doing » ! We offer a wide range of practical courses so that you can carry out experiments on our many scientific installations. We have 6 laboratories of the CNRS (National Scientific Research Center) with large scale research facilities such as a White room, an Anechoic chamber, an Atmospheric wind tunnel, a Soliton simulator, Phare and many others. The École Centrale de Lyon possesses exceptional equipment allowing its researchers and students to carry out multiple experiments and to follow numerous courses.
